This is a national effort to provide $3 per person discounted admission to all EBT, WIC and SNAP card holding families. SEE was the first museum in New Hampshire to become part of this program.

• EBT, WIC and SNAP cardholding families can also purchase a discounted membership to the SEE Science Center.  This allows families to gain access to SEE member benefits including reciprocal admission discounts at more than 300 science and children’s museums across the country.
• SEE offers both discounted and free summer camp scholarships to local kids, so they can join in our amazing hands-on science camp opportunities.

This effort provides field trips, and when possible transportation support for low-income schools with federal Title I designation.  The program began in 2014 with generous donations from sponsors which allowed SEE to provide free school field trips to every 4^th grade student throughout Manchester’s 14 public elementary schools.  The program has continued to expand and now SEE serves 3-5,000 students yearly through this effort.  Any Title I school districts within a thirty mile radius of SEE is eligible for services.

The Access Pass provides free entry to SEE to non-profit organizations serving neurodiverse children and children suffering from loss or mental health challenges.  The pass allows participants to visit with one-on-one service aides and experience SEE’s multi-sensory learning environment.

In the fall of 2022 SEE implemented a pilot study testing the use of multilingual QR codes to provide greater access to our exhibit content and to provide our website content in additional languages. SEE is beginning to expand these multilingual QR codes into other exhibits throughout the Museum, and to offer support in additional languages.

In collaboration with the Manchester Historic Association and through a grant from the New Hampshire Humanities Council SEE Science Center produced short oral histories of individuals working in STEM careers with connections to Manchester, NH.  The project collected stories from a diverse group of individuals with personal identities spanning across different races, ethnicities, genders and at different stages in their careers highlighting a wide array of local STEM jobs.  These videos provide positive role models for local students to see individuals like them working in the growing local Manchester STEM workforce.

SEE works with community non-profit partners to ensure a wider range of children have access to the Science Center’s services while helping to support the needs and missions of our non-profit partners creating a win-win for our community at large.  SEE offers free facilities rentals, free group admissions, camp scholarships and free programs to these community partners.
