Birthday parties at SEE are a great value, fun for the kids and convenient and affordable for parents. Hundreds of families choose SEE for their child's birthday party each year. Join them! SEE parties are ideal for kids turning 3 to 12. Parties are not just for birthdays, we also host team or troop parties.

Parties include:
- Admission to SEE Science Center for eight children and eight adults (with opportunity to add additional guests).
- Private Party room for 2 hours.

- Guests can stay and visit the Science Center until closing time.
- SEE members enjoy discounted rates on parties.

- $200.00
For up to 8 children and 8 adults - $12.00 for each additional child. One adult free with each additional child.

Parties are available on weekends with two choices for time slots:
11:00am – 1:00pm
or 2:00pm -4:00pm
The party room holds 30 people.
You supply all food and serving products.
Birthday Party FAQ
Are there organized activities?
There are no exclusive or programed activities for birthday parties. However, SEE Science Center offers daily demonstrations for all visitors.
There will be at least one demonstration offered during your party. Our staff will let you know the time and location of the demonstration. Birthday parties cannot request a specific demonstration or ask to change the time of the demonstration.
Can I have pizza delivered?
Yes, many local restaurants deliver here.
Can I bring food?
Yes, you can bring any kind of food you want to. SEE does not provide any plates, paper goods, or other utensils. Alcohol is not allowed for the adults at the party.
Can I come early to set up?
No, you will only have access to the room during your two hour booking. All party guests and materials must be out of the room by the end of your time.
Can I decorate the room?
Decorations are allowed in the room, however, the children attending the party typically do not spend the majority of their time in the party room and there is no additional setup or take down time available.
Do we have to leave at the end of our allotted time?
Party hosts must remove all items from the SEE Science Center at the end of your allotted party time. You and your guests may choose to continue to explore the SEE Science Center until closing time. Children must be supervised at all times.
How soon should I book?
Parties are booked on a first come first served basis. Party slots fill up four to six weeks in advance, depending on the time of year. You can sometimes book a party as late as one week in advance. Please call 669-0400 to check availability.
What happens if we need to reschedule?
If you need to reschedule your party for any reason including weather. Your paid deposit will carry over to your new booking.
(If a severe weather event is predicted that could affect SEE being open, a staff member will call you the day before to discuss options for your party.)
