Lets talk events with the Social Media Intern at SEE!
By Leah Federico, Social Media Intern
As Social Media Intern at the SEE Science Center, I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with such inspiring individuals. On my journey so far, I have been to a couple of events in and around the Manchester Area. These events not only brought together a community, but they show how much people from all over the state love to learn about the fun and interactive ways of Science, hence by coming to the SEE Science Center.
The SEE Science Center recently went to the Boy and Girls Club Day Event on September 21st. It was a pleasure seeing everyone’s smiling faces, and eager to learn. We had a great turnout at our table: over 100 people signed up for our email list and we even had a prize wheel for children to spin. The children loved this prize wheel, and winning the prize itself. This club day event helped to promote the Boys and Girls Club of Manchester, as well as other clubs and centers for children and adults to join within the community.
This past September 25th, SEE was at the Community Fair at Southern New Hampshire University. This event brought together the student body of SNHU, with different restaurants, centers, and places to gather, all over the area of Manchester, NH. SEE had a blast working this event, especially engaging college students to come and check out what the Science Center has to offer. Our electricity wheel was also a big hit with the crowd, as well as multiple students signing up for our email list.
