July 29 – August 2, 2024
Have you ever thought about helping someone with a medical challenge?
In this exciting week-long camp, you will explore DNA, cells, tissues, organs and organ transplants, and discover innovative scientific and manufacturing processes being developed to help people live healthy lives! Campers will engage in hands-on activities including creating models, using microscopes, and micro pipetting, all in a friendly, fun, and engaging environment. Your Trek will include behind-the-scenes tours of local companies and labs in Manchester’s Millyard.
Campers will develop problem-solving skills and discover how novel solutions are the future of medicine. They will be introduced to the growing industry of biofabrication and learn how the manufacturing of cells, tissues, and organs will be used to cure chronic diseases, address organ failure, and improve outcomes for traumatic injuries.
