
This gala event is held in the fall at a unique and inspiring location with opportunities to support SEE’s mission while discovering the impact of SEE in the local STEM infrastructure and economy.
The 2025 Evening of Giving & Discovery will be held September 25, 2025 and will be presented by RBC Wealth Management.. Dean Kamen will open his home to the region’s leaders of high-tech companies, businesses and special invited guests for annual event to benefit the SEE Science Center. The 2025 theme will be ‘Sciene for All’.
This exclusive fundraising event is a wonderful opportunity to support SEE’s mission while enjoying the company of renowned inventor, physicist and entrepreneur Dean Kamen. His home is an architectural wonder, filled with inventions, artwork and mechanical curiosities. Guests can network, view Dean’s personal collections and take in the 360 degree view from the cupola.

Cocktails, wine and beer will be served, accompanied by a selection of delicious hors d’oeuvres and a casual dinner. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on silent and live auction items and make a contribution to the SEE Science Center.
Private Event
This event takes place at a private residence in Bedford from 5pm – 9pm, first time guests must be screened by SEE, this process may take up to two weeks.

How to dress: In most cases what you wear to work will be appropriate. Think smart casual: blouses, button-downs, polo shirts, chinos, dress pants, skirts etc. Especially if the weather is warm, we suggest avoiding suit jackets. Comfortable casual shoes are recommended to climb the many stairs in the home.

2024 Night of Giving and Discovery at Westwind
The 2024 Evening of Giving & Discovery was held September 19th and was presented by RBC Wealth Management. The evening’s program highlighted our partnerships with the disability community and how this work has improved experiences at SEE for all our visitors. Our host, Dean Kamen shared how the the unique size and atmosphere in New Hampshire provides many opportunities but to achieve them we must work together. He emphasized how different and unique that is compared to where he grew up. Guests enjoyed exploring the venue and had a chance to interact with DEKA engineers and witness physics concepts in action. The event was a success thanks to our sponsors, supporters, volunteers and staff.
