SEE Joining Science Centers World Wide to Promote Sustainability

SEE will be offering hands-on sustainability activities November 9th &10th and 23rd & 24th    There is no cost beyond regular admission for these activities; all materials will be supplied.

The United Nations International Science Center and Science Museum Day is November 10th (ISCSMD).  The SEE Science Center is joining science centers and museums around the world to call attention to the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Visit SEE on November 9th &10th and 23rd & 24th to explore water use, conservation and imagine the future of our neighborhoods through hands-on activities.  From 1 -2pm on those dates, visitors will have the opportunity to explore recycling and make their own artwork from recycled materials.

All ISCSMD activities show how science and technology can serve the greater good for the planet and its people.  The UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),  seek to end poverty, fight inequalities, tackle climate change, and transform our world—while ensuring that no one is left behind.

In addition to these hands-on activities SEE is also hosting a food drive for New Horizons throughout November.  Learn more.
