Science on Tap: Robotics, AI & Machine Learning Dec. 3

Science on Tap events are informal discussions with local scientists and experts on a particular topic held at Stark Brewing Co. in Manchester.

On December 3rd our topic is the Intersection of Robotics, AI & Machine Learning.

Artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotic technologies are emerging and complimenting one another as tools to address challenges.   Learn how these fields are distinct and aligned.  Discover how robots are learning to navigate our cities.  Discuss how these fields integrate with and influence human behavior.

Join us as we converse with our panel of experts:

William Seeley Ph.D.  currently  teaches a variety of subjects at UNH Manchester  including Artificial Intelligence, cognitive science, philosophy and ethics.

Dirk Van der Merwre currently leads the autonomous robotics group and the control systems group at DEKA Research & Development

Doors open at 5pm panelists are introduced at 6pm

Science on Tap is a program of the SEE Science Center. The ongoing series is held the first Tuesday of each month from October to June. The events are free, attendees are welcome to order from the food and beverage menus.
