More Mud Season

Keep your boots handy!  NH is getting muddier.  Join us to discuss the lengthening vernal window.  Learn how the period between the end of winter and the beginning of growing season affects our ecosystem.  Discover how researchers are tracking seasonal changes including more frequent snow melt episodes during all parts of winter.  Discuss how changes in our mud season are impacting our forests and watersheds.

Our panelists will include:

Dr. Alix Contosta, Ph.D.  Research Assistant Professor
Earth Systems Research Center Institute for the Study of Earth, Oceans, and Space University of New Hampshire

Danielle Grogan Research Scientist
