We often introduce visitors to the ingredients of combustion at SEE. We invite you to join us for this discussion to explore the advanced science, tools and techniques that inform firefighting today. Learn about the chemicals that help and hinder fire suppression. From structures to forests, discover the advanced monitoring, mapping and research that continue to reshape fire control.

Science on Tap  events are informal discussions with local scientists and experts on a particular topic. Science on Tap is an adult education program offered by the SEE Science Center.  Science on Tap events are free and open to the public, but advanced sign up is appreciated.  Food and drink are available for purchase.
