SEE will be open on Monday December 26th in addition to the regular weekday hours of Tuesday through Friday from 10am – 4pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am – 5pm. SEE will be closed December 24, 25 and January 1.
From December 26 – 30th SEE will be offering special daily activities. Depending on the day and time of your visit, SEE visitors will have the opportunity to try a machine learning game, make a science craft to take home or touch a fossil.
The machine learning game experience will mark the conclusion of our year-long celebration of the centennial of Ralph Baer’s birth. The celebration events are hosted by the SEE Science Center and the Ralph Baer projects club and are presented by BAE Systems and supported by XMA powered by Omni Spectra and Skymap. Ralph Baer (1922- 2014) was an engineer and inventor with more than 150 patents. His “brown box" controller became the original prototype for the first video game.
